You know it’s going to be a good day when you get in the car, turn on the satellite radio, and the first thing you hear is the sax solo from “Jungleland” by Bruce Springsteen. Then you pull into Dunkin Donuts, and find out today is the day you get a free extra large coffee [...]
It has been a perfect summer here on the north coast from a weather perspective. We’ve got the best summers here. January through March tests the patience and loyalty of Clevelanders each year, but it just doesn’t get any better than the weather we get to enjoy from June through October. Temps in the high [...]

The Plain Dealer released their preseason high school football rankings this morning, and once again, the east side of Cleveland is dominating the top of the rankings. The Bucks got a heckuva team this season, and are preseason #2 in the polls. I also think this is going to be a much better year for the Big Ten, [...]
More gems from LeQuitter, this time told to GQ Magazine …
On Akron vs. Cleveland – “It’s not far, but it is far. And Clevelanders, because they were the bigger-city kids when we were growing up, looked down on us.… So we didn’t actually like Cleveland. We hated Cleveland growing up. There’s a lot of people [...]
So I’m blowing off a little steam after work last night doing neutral slams in my rental car, and it hits me – my son starts kindergarten on Thursday. Talk about a scary feeling as a parent. Five days a week, 8 AM – 3 PM. On his own. He just turned five years old.
